Kindergarten Program
A program delivered by early childhood educators committed to delivering the highest quality kindergarten program available for children. The program will assist children with the knowledge, understandings and skills to assist with future life experiences. A selection of individually and age appropriate experiences and activities will be provided which will challenge each child’s interests, abilities and understandings. The environment will be set up for children to learn through active exploration and interactions with adults, other children and materials. The daily program consists of outside play time, group learning sessions, language sessions, music times as well as free play times. The daily routine is flexible to allow for changes in weather, impromptu activities and the children’s needs.
Kindy Room
For children aged 3 -4 years
This program aims to develop the children’s self esteem and their positive attitude to learning. They will gain a better understanding of themselves and their potential. They will have the opportunity to make decisions and have real choices to develop their independence. They will learn the skills to resolve problems as they become aware of the needs of others and work co-operatively with them. Our caring staff will guide your children’s learning by providing them with age appropriate and developmentally challenging activities throughout the day.
Junior Kindy Room
For children aged 2 – 3 years
From this program the children will gain a lively and inquiring mind with a love of learning and a willingness to apply effort. They will acquire the ability to express themselves creatively using their full imagination. Along with self confidence, a sense of worth and respect and consideration of others, the children will also acquire a defined set of personal and social goals and the ability to make rational decisions and to problem solve effectively.
Toddler Room
For children aged 15 months – 2 years
The goals of the toddler room are to provide an environment for the children to feel safe and relaxed in and to develop trust and friendship with the carers. We will encourage the children to develop an awareness of being an individual, functioning within a group and to a routine. Through heightening their five senses (hearing, sight, smell, touch and taste) the program will promote their self confidence and self expression as they are encouraged to develop at their own rate in our stimulating learning environment.
